The Grapes for this wine were purchased from Giving Tree Vineyard, a gently sloping site that features well-drained Bellpine marine sedimentary soils. The Gewürztraminer grape is famous for its rose-colored skin while still producing white wines with a characteristic floral spice and lychee aromas.  

The Wine is a beautiful, dry Gewürztraminer. We sourced these grapes to add to our Alsatian style blend and we are happy to have enough to offer as a single variety as well. Although this grape is commonly made into sweet wines, we chose to make a completely dry and still wine to showcase this truly interesting variety.
